Drifting on the Beijiang River in RongshuiDrifting on the Zijiang River in Ziyuan County

Rising in Mao" er Mountain, the Zijiang River flows through Ziyuan County. The river valley presents a Danxia-type landscape known for its seclusion, perilous position, beauty, and marvellousness. There are 48 rapids and 31 turns on the 22.5-kilometer drifting section. It is a great joy to drift down the threatening but not dangerous river in a rubber or wooden boat or a bamboo raft and admire the charming scenery on both banks.
