A strange phenomenon is found in a section of some 1,000 meters of the Shenyang-Dalian Highway in Qingshuitai Town, Xinchengzi District north of Shenyang. Here, cut-out vehicles can coast up the slope easily, but bicycles down the slop have to be ridden hardly, hence its name. Near the Strange Slope there is a Sounding Hill. When people set foot on and throw stones at certain parts of the hill, they can hear a sound, hence its name.
