Also known as the North Mausoleum, Zhaoling in the northern part of Shenyang is the tomb of Emperor Taizong and Empress Xiao Duanwen of the Qing Dynasty. Built in 1651, the eighth year of Emperor Shunzhi's reign, the tomb is the largest tomb among the three imperial mausoleums outside the Shanhai Pass. It is divided into three parts. The first part starts from the Getting-down-from-a-Horse Stone and ends at Zhenghong Gate. The second part ranges from Zhenghong Gate to the Square City. The third part includes the Square City, the Crescent Moon City, and Baoding.
