Suzhou embroidery is one of the four famous types embroidery in China, others being the xiang embroidery in Hunan, the shu embroidery in Sichuan, and the yue embroidery in Guangdong. Suzhou embroidery is flat on surface, neat, well stitched, and bright in color. It includes xoideries of single side, double sides, and irregular stitches.

Silk Woven

It is one of the tradial Chinese craftsmanship, a type of wing done by the tapestry method in silks and golden thread. Silk woven ales were tributes to the royal court in Qing Dynasty.

Suzhou Fans

Known for exquisiteness and elegarice, fans made in Suzhou are not only practical but also of artistic value. It has a great variety, including folding fan, sandalwood fan, and silk palace fan. Flowers are usually ited or ironed on the sandalwood fans.
