It extends for more than 300 kilometers from Fuyang County upstream along the middle and lower reaches of the Qiantang River to Qiandao Lake in Chun'an County. The Fuchun River, the Xin'an River and Qiandao Lake constitute the principal part of the scenic area. The major scenic spots are Xinsha Island, Guanshan Mountain, Tongju n Mountain, Hulu Waterfall, Guihua Islet, Yaolin Cave, Lingqi Cave, Fuxi Stone Forest, Daxi Crag, the ancient Town of Longmen, Yan Ziling Fishing Terraces, the Twin Pagodas of Meicheng, Fang La Cave, the Temple of Hai Rui as well as the "peasant family pleasure" tourist area on Xinsha Island.
