Quzhou Located in western Zhejiang Province, on the upper reaches of the Qiantang River in western Zhejiang, the city of Quzhou is the gateway to the rest of Zhejiang and Jiangxi, Fujian, and Anhui provinces, with the Zhegan Railroad running through southern Quzhou and the Qujiang River flows past northern Quzhou.

The city has rich tourist resources. There are the imposing Ancestral Temple of the Southern Kong (Confucian) Clan, one of the two ancestral temples of the Kong clan in China; Lanke Mountain 10 kilometers southeast of the city proper, which has green peaks and clear waters, and the huge rocks on top of the mountain support a horizontal rock to form a bridge arch known as Tiansheng (Nature-Formed) Bridge.
