Leizhou is located in southern Guangdong Province. There are many historical sites, such as the Ancestral Temple of Leizhou, Sanyuan Pagoda, Zhenwu Hall, ruins of the New Stone Age, kiln ruins of the Tang Dynasty, and tombs from the Han to the Yuan dynasties (206 B.C.-A.D. 1368). Many houses in Leizhou were built in the Qing Dynasty.
