Located on the Wandashan Mountain, the Jingpo Lake is the largest alpine barrier lake in China. It was formed about 10,000 years ago when the Mudan Ricer was blocked by the la\ a from volcanic eruptions.
About 50 kilometres northwest of the Jingpo Lake stands the "Underground
Forests". In fact, they are crater forests where thrive various
trees in as more as ten huge pits. |
