Dongjing Ancient Music

Dongjing Music was named because "Dadong Scripture" was chanted amid accompaniment of music. It was' introduced to the Nanzhao Kingdom during the Tang Dynasty from inland area. In the long course of development, Dongjing Music has absorbed elements from music of various places, and at the same time retained the elegance of the court music, in addition to the liveliness and humor of the Bai folk music.

It is uniquely charming.
