Tianshui

It is on the Loess Plateau in southeastern Gansu and a major city on the east tour route in the province. Local tourism resources center around the Silk Road culture and root-searching pilgrimage.

Main spots of interest include the Maijishan and Xianrenya Grottoes, Mount Kongtong, and South and North Grotto monasteries.
