Id Kah Mosque

The mosque with a history of 500 years is situated on the Aitika Square in the downtown area of Kashi City.

When a religious service is held on a Moslem festival, over 10,000 Uygur Moslems will come ot worship both inside and outside the mosque. Then they will rush to the square, singing and dancing to celebrate the occasion to their hearts' content.
