C.  Tour Itinerary

    Day 1 Los Angels / Beijing

    The exciting journey to China starts as you board the overnight flight to Beijing, capital of China and gateway of the splendors of a unique world.

     

    Day 2 Arrive Beijing

    On arrival at the Capital Airport, you are warmly welcomed by our English speaking tour guide and driver, and are transferred to your luxury hotel for rest.

     

    Day 3 Beijing (B, L, D)

    Today, we will take you to visit the Forbidden City, the royal court for 400 years till 1911, a 175-acre complex of palaces, pavilions, courtyards, and gardens. Behold Tiananmen Square - the world largest public square. Continue to the Temple of Heaven, a sacred place for Emperors to pray for harvest. The Qinian Hall in the center of the architecture is a masterpiece of Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). Visit the famous Pearl Store.

     

    Day 4 Beijing (B, L, D)

    Whole day excursion to see one of the most spectacular structures ever built by man, the "Eighth Wonder of the World", the Great Wall of China, at Badaling, in the Northwest of Beijing. Also visit the Ming Tombs – large scale royal mausoleum groups and gardens, and the enchanting Summer Palace. For tonight’s activity, enjoy a Chinese acrobatic show.

     

    Day 5 Beijing/Shanghai/Suzhou (B, L, D)

    Fly to Shanghai in the morning by the China Eastern Airline flight. After lunch, Take the bus to Suzhou in the afternoon. From today, you are going to explore the gardens, cuisine, arts and crafts, legends and stories … everything full of Chinese traditional culture.

     

    Day 6 Suzhou/Zhouzhuang or Tongli/Hangzhou (B, L, D)

    Tour to the 2,000 year Chilly Hill Temple, the Lion Garden. Visit the First Silk Factory and see how the world’s most beautiful silk is produced. Continue bus trip to Zhouzhuang or Tongli to visit the famous Old Water Town, river-waived little town with stone streets, bridges, and traditional gardens, shops and residences of hundreds of years old. Bus trip on to Hangzhou, tour around the West Lake – legendary most beautiful place.

     

    Day 7 Hangzhou/Shanghai (B, L, D)

    Visit the Lingying Temple, the Sudi Dike and have a taste of the Longjing Tea, China’s most famous tea, in Meiwu Tea House. The coach takes you back to Shanghai.

     

    Day 8 Shanghai/Yichang/Yangtze River Cruise Tour (B, L)

Flight to Yichang. Transfer to embark the 4 star cruise ship - MV Princess Sissi of CITS Presidential Cruises. Overnight on Board, and lunch & dinner enroute.

 

Day 9  Cruise Three Gorges on the Yangtze (B, L, D)
Set sailing at 8 a.m and start the Yangtze River cruise. At noom,  shore excursion to visit the Three Gorges Project - China's big dam construction site.

Day 10  Cruise Three Gorges on the Yangtze (B, L, D)
Change to a pea-boat to drift on the Shennong Steam.

Day 11   Cruise Three Gorges on the Yangtze (B, L, D)
Cruise & off-shore excursion to Shibaozhai.

Day 12    Cruise Three Gorges /Chongqing/ Shanghai (B, L, D)
Cruise arrives in Chongqing. Transfer to the airport and fly back to Shanghai. Check into Shanghai hotel for rest.

    Day 13      Shanghai/Los Angeles (B, L)

    Your last day in China has a tight schedule in this metro city. Tour to the Yu Garden, Old City Town, the Bund water front and the People's Square. In the late afternoon, our guide and driver will escort you to the Shanghai Pudong International Airport, and help you check in China Eastern Airlines flight. You will be back to Los Angels the same day.

Chinese Consulate no longer accepts mail in application. The single entry China tourist visa fee is $75 per person. To apply for it please fill out the China visa form, submit with your original valid passport and 1 recent picture. Using FedEx to mail your visa application is strongly suggested. We will mail you back the China visa and your passport via FedEx. Regular process takes 7- 10 working days. Express service is available upon request and additional fee.
