B. Tour Itinerary DAY 1 West Coast / Beijing Leave your home city today and begin your wonderful journey to China. Cross the international Date Line to the orient. DAY 2 Arrive Beijing (D) Arrive Beijing, China's capital, this evening. Upon arrival, you will be met and escorted to your deluxe hotel -- Prime Hotel or same class. DAY 3 Beijing (B, L, D) Your sightseeing in this magnificent city starts at world's largest square -- Tiananmen Square. The royal court Forbidden City offers endless stories to find. Continues to the Temple of Heaven or Summer Palace, all world famous sites. An authentic Peking Duck dinner party concludes the first day activities. DAY 4 Beijing (B, L, D) Take a private car or motorcoach to the northern hills where the Great Wall lies. On the way back to Beijing, we will visit the Ming Tombs secluded in the valley. DAY 5 Beijing / Xian (B, L, D) Fly to Xian, an ancient capital for many dynasties and now a modern metro city in the Northwest, and transfer to deluxe Shangri-La Golden Flower Hotel. DAY 6 Xian (B, L, D) Today , we set off to view the first emperor's 6,000 life size terra-cotta soldiers and their horses, chariots, and weapons, which was called "the eighth wonder of the world". Banpo Neolithic Museum with relics of 8,000 years, the legendary Wild Goose Pagoda and Huaqing Hot Spring. Enjoy a marvelous Tang Dynasty dinner show tonight. DAY 7 Xian / Guangzhou (B, L, D) Wing on to Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong Province and the southern gate of China, for a rich dim sum luncheon. City tour to Chen Family Temple, Memorial Hall of Dr. Sun Yat-sen -- father of modern China and five goats sculpture. DAY 8 Guangzhou / Shenzhen (B, L, D) Express train to Shenzhen, China's economical reform model. Check into Guest House. DAY 9 Shenzhen (B, L, D) Visit the Splendid China, China Folk Culture Villages, and visit local working people's family. DAY 10 Shenzhen / Shanghai (B, L, D) After breakfast, you will be on your way to Shanghai, China's economic center at the mouth of the Yangtze and one of the world's busiest cities. Transfer to Rainbow Hotel. DAY 11 Shanghai (B, L, D) Tour in this world renowned city includes trips to the Jade Buddha Temple, Yu Gardens, stroll along the fabled Bund by the Huangpu River, play with children in the Children's Palace of Shanghai, and shopping at the Nanjing Road -- Shanghai's bustling commercial center. Enjoy an acrobatic show tonight. DAY 12 Shanghai / West Coast (B) After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight homebound.
