    Route A

  • Day 1
    Arrive in Beijing
    Welcome to Beijing, capital of China. On arrival, you will be met by our CITS guide and transferred to your hotel.
  • Day 2
    Beijing
    Morning tour to Tian An Men Square, located in the heart of the capital, and the Imperial Palace (Forbidden City) - one of the greatest feats of ancient Chinese architecture. Afternoon sightseeing includes Summer Palace - a former summer resort area of the royal family, or a visit to the Temple of Heaven Where the emperors prayed for good harvests. Dinner is the famous Beijing roasted duck at a local restaurant.
  • Day 3
    Beijing
    A full day excursion to the Great Wall - the landmark of China. It is one of the most amazing feats of human labor - the only man-made construction on earth visible from outer space. After lunch, a drive to the Ming Tombs along the Sacred Way with giant marble figures and animals guarding the tomb area for deceased emperors of the Ming Dynasty.
  • Day 4
    Beijing - Shanghai by air
    After two hours flight, you will arrive in Shanghai. The tour begins with a stroll along the lively waterfront "The Bund", then a visit to the Jade Buddha Temple where two rare jade statues of Sakyamuni Buddha are treasured. An acrobatic show for your evening entertainment.

    Shanghai
    Sightsee the fascinating Yu Yuan (Mandarin's Garden), the Museum of Art and History. No visit to Shanghai would be complete without a stop at a craft factory or a curio shop that Shanghai is famous for a visit to the Children's Palace if time permits.

  • Day 2
    Beijing
    Morning tour to Tian An Men Square, located in the heart of the capital, and the Imperial Palace (Forbidden City) one of the greatest feats of ancient Chinese architecture. After lunch proceed to the Temple of Heaven where the Ming and Qing emperors prayed for good harvests. This is the largest temple complex remaining in China today. Cultural or acrobatic performance (if available) will be attended in the evening.

    Full day excursion to the Great Wall - the landmark of China. It is one of the most amazing feats of manmade construction on earth visible from outer space. After lunch, a drive to the Ming Tombs along the Sacred Way with giant marble figures and animals guarding the tomb area for deceased emperors of the Ming Dynasty. Dinner is the famous Beijing roasted duck at a local restaurant.
  • Day 4
    Beijing - Xi'an by air
    Half day sightseeing includes the Summer Palace a former summer resort area of the royal family. After visit, take flight to Xi'an, the great ancient capital and the eastern end of the Silk Road. City tour begins with a visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was built in 652 AD It contains a large volume of Buddhist scripture which were obtained from India by the eminent monk Xuanzang. Cultural performance will be provided if available.
  • Day 5
    Xi'an
    A full day visit includes the unparalleled highlight of an excursion to the incredible Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses at the Tomb of Qin Shi Huang, the first Qin Emperor. Added highlights are visits to the Huaqing Hot Spring - a former resort area especially for the emperors and royal family and a visit to the Banpo Village - the remains of a Neolithic village dating back 6,000 years. Primitive tools and household utensils are displayed in the Banpo Museum.
  • Day 6
    Xi'an
    Your trip comes to an end as you fly back home with fond memory.
