A. Tour Itinerary:
Day 1 Beijing
A tour of Tian'anmen Square, the world's largest public square, and Palace Museum, known
as the Forbidden City. Dinner at a restaurant.
Day 2 Beijing
A full day excursion to the Great Wall, one of the most amazing feats of human labor.
After lunch, a drive to the Ming Tombs along the Sacred Way with giant marble figures and
animals guarding the tomb area for deceased emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644AD). In
the evening you are treated to a delicious Beijing roasted duck dinner.
Day 3 Beijing
Your sightseeing this morning is the Temple of Heaven, the largest temple complex in
China. After lunch, tour of the Summer Palace, a former summer resort for the royal
family. Dinner at a restaurant.
Day 4 Beijing 150km(2hrs) Baoding 137km(2hrs) Zhengding 15km Shijiazhuang
8:30 Visit Lu Gou Bridge, known as Marco Polo Bridge.
11:00 Arrive in Baoding. Visit Zhili Governors Office, the
only best preserved provincial office of the Qing Dynasty.
12:00 Lunch at a restaurant.
13:00 Leave for Zhengding to visit the Longxingsi Complex,
Huata Pagoda and Chenglingta Pagoda.
17:00 Leave for Shijiazhuang where dinner is served.
Day 5
Shijiazhuang 188km(2hrs) Handan 60km(1hr) Anyang 183km(2hrs) Zhengzhou
8:30 Leave for Handan
11:00 Arrive in Handan. A sightseeing tour of Wuling Congtai
Terrace, the symbol of
Handan and watch a Taiji boxing performance. Lunch at a restaurant.
13:30 Leave for Anyang.
14:30 Arrive in Anyang, capital of the Yin and Shang
dynasties (1766-1154BC). Visit Museum of the Yin Ruins, Fuhao Tomb (A middle-size imperial
tomb where a heroine named Fuhao was buried.) and Wenfeng Pagoda, a 38.65 meters high
umbrella-shaped tower building.
16:30 Leave Anyang for Zhengzhou.
18:30 Arrive in Zhengzhou. Dinner at a restaurant.
Day 6 Zhengzhou
90km(2hrs) Dengfeng 70km(1.5hrs) Luoyang
8:30 Boating in the Yellow River scenic area. Visit Henan
Provincial Museum.
13:00 Leave for Dengfeng after lunch.
15:00 Arrive in Dengfeng. Visit Shaolin Monastery, the
founding temple of the Buddhist Chan Sect and the birthplace of Shaolin Kungfu, and Pagoda
Forest. Watch martial arts performance.
17:00 Leave for Luoyang where dinner is served.
Day 7 Luoyang
8:30 Visit Longmen Grottoes, a world cultural heritage, and
Art and Craft Factory.
13:30 Visit Museum of Ancient Tombs.
18:00 Dinner at a restaurant.
Day 8 Luoyang 130km(2hrs) Sanmenxia 244km(3hrs) Xi'an
8:30 Leave for Sanmenxia.

Visits to ruins of Chariot-and-Horse Tomb of Ancient Guo State in the Spring and Autumn
Period, and cave dwelling courtyard (7 kilometers away from the city of Sanmenxia).
13:30 Leave for Xi'an after lunch.
15:30 Arrive in Xi'an, the great ancient capital and the
eastern end of the Silk Road. Visit the life-sized terra-cotta warriors and horses buried
for 2,200 years in the first emperor's necropolis, and the Bronze Chariots, the first and
largest imperial mausoleum in China, also a world heritage site.
18:30 Dinner at a restaurant.
Day 9 Xi'an
8:30 Out for a visit to Huaqing Hot Spring Palace and
Emperor Qin Shi Huang's Mausoleum.
13:00 After lunch, visit the Greater Wild Goose Pagoda and
Ancient City Wall, the largest and the most complete ancient city wall well-preserved in
China.
19:00 Dinner at a restaurant.
Day 10 Xian/Exit
Morning departure for your onward flight.
