A. Tour Itinerary
Aug 28 New York & LAX/Vancouver/Beijing
Fly Canadian Airlines CP629 (7:42am/10:45am) from JFK, LAX, SFO and other cities to
Vancouver. Connect CP 29 (12:50pm/3:10pm) to Beijing.
29 Arrive Beijing (D)
Arrive Beijing in the afternoon at 3:10pm. Our local representatives will meet you
at the airport and escort the group to 4 star China Resources Hotel.
Group members arrive in Beijing today with different schedules and transfer by
themselves from airport to China Resources Hotel to meet the group. Early check-in is
allowed.

30 Beijing (B, L, D)
The group visits the Great Wall on the north mountains, and magnificent Tiananmen
Square after a grand renovation and the formal royal palace ?magnificent Forbidden City.
31 Beijing/Zhengzhou (B, L, D)
Fly CA 1325 (1:10pm/2:15pm) to Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province. Meet at
the airport and escorted to your Minhang Hotel. Sightseeing and shopping in the afternoon.
Sept 01 Zhengzhou (B, L, D)
Attending Shaolin International Martial Arts Festival on the opening ceremony. Join
the competition and watching the martial arts performances everywhere.
02 Zhengzhou/Shaolin Temple (B, L, D)
Escorted to Shaolin by private bus, then the rest days will be on your own training
session in the Shaolin Temple.
03--04 Shaolin (B, L, D)
Learning Martial arts from the Shaolin masters, tour Shaolin Temple, local martial
arts schools with tens of thousands of students. During this Shaolin International Martial
Arts Festival, there would be other activities available, such as martial arts
competition, fair, performances, etc.
05 Shaolin Shaolin/Zhengzhou/Beijing (B, L, D)
The group is divided into two groups. The short trip group will transfer to
Zhengzhou airport, and then take flight CZ 3175 (4:30pm/5:30pm) to Beijing. Escort to
China Resources Hotel for overnight.
06 Shaolin/Zhengzhou/Xiangfan (B, L, D)
Beijing/US (B)
The short trip group will fly Canadian Airlines flight CP30 (4:45p/12:20p) to
Vancouver. Then connect CP 6290 (2:30p/10:58p) back to New York and other flight back to
Los Angeles.
The long trip group will transfer to Zhengzhou. And then take overnight train T603
leaving at 9:40pm (hard sleeper, there is no soft sleeper on this train) to Xiangfan.
07 Xiangfan/Mt. Wudang (B, L,
D)
Arrive Xiangfan City at 6:48am, transfer to Mt. Wudang. Check in Jiulong
(Nine-Dragon) Villa, the best in town. Afternoon activities: visit schools, sightseeing,
film making, etc.
08 Mt. Wudang (B, L, D)
Guided sightseeing, videotaping, visit martial arts schools, etc.
09 Mt. Wudang/Xiangfan/Xian (B, L, D)
The long trip group in daytime continue sightseeing and visiting. Afternoon transfer to
Xiangfan to take overnight train T212 leaving at 10:19pm (comfortable soft sleeper) to
Xian.
10 Arrive Xian (B, L, D)
Long trip group arrives in Xian at 12:51pm, transfer to 4 star Lee Garden Hotel. In
the afternoon, visit the magnificent ancient city wall surrounding the city.
11 Xian (B, L, D)
Visit Terra Cotta Warriors, Huaqing Hot Springs. Visit open markets in the
afternoon.
12 Xian/Beijing/Vancouver/New York and LAX
(B)
Morning flight WH 2109 (11:05am/12:30pm) to Beijing. Transfer to Canadian Airlines
CP30 (4:45p/12:20p) to Vancouver. Then connect CP 6290 (2:30p/10:58p) back to New York.
You will arrive home at the same day.
B. Inclusions
- Round trip international air tickets from San Francisco or Los Angeles (unless land
only);
- 3 and 4 star tourist hotels or best available in town;
- Three meals daily with Western style brreakfast buffet, China lunches and dinners;
- Sightseeing with good English speaking tour guides;
