Scenic Harmony Tour

13 Day Tour of Guangzhou, Guilin, Hangzhou, Qiandao Lake, Mount Huangshan and Beijing
  • Day 1
    Welcome to Guangzhou, capital of the Guangdong Province and southern China's most dynamic and developed commercial center. A brief sightseeing tour will acquaint you with this famous "Five-Ram City".
  • Day 2
    Guangzhou - Guilin by air
    Today fly to Guilin. Sightseeing starts with a visit to the most famous Reed Flute Cave or Fubo Hill up where you can climb for the panoramic view of the city.
  • Day 3
    Take a boat ride in the morning along the Li River to Yang Shuo, viewing the spectacular scenery as it reflects in the crystalline water. You can explore Yang Shuo - a small town with many stalls selling traditional Chinese arts and crafts articles. Return to Guilin by coach for dinner.
  • Day 4
    Guilin - Hangzhou by air
    A 2-hour flight takes you to the idyllic city of Hangzhou where sightseeing focuses on the lovely gardens, lakes and landscape island.
  • Day 5
    A full day sightseeing features a cruise on the famous West Lake and a visit to the Six Harmonies. If time permits, visit a silk factory, or Lingyin (Soul's Retreat) Temple.
  • Day 7
    Qiandao Lake - Huangshan Mountain by coach
    Huangshan Mountain (Yellow Mountain) is one of the famous scenic spots in China, reputed to be "Number One Mountain under Heaven" and known for its pines, rocks, clouds, and hot springs. There are 72 famous peaks in the scenic area, of which the three main ones - Lianhua Feng (Lotus Peak), Tiandu Feng (Celestial City Peak) and Guangmingding (Bright Top) are over 1,800 meters above sea level (It takes one day to go from Hangzhou, and another day to come back. Three days are needed at least to make a tour of the mountain.)
  • Day 8
    At Huangshan Mountain, to see the spectacular sunrise at the top of the mountain-named Beihai (North Sea).
  • Day 9
    At Huangshan Mountain
  • Day 10
    Huangshan Mountain - Beijing by air Drive to Tunxi Airport, a distance of 75 km away from the mountain, before taking a flight to Beijing.
  • Day 11
    Morning tour to Tian An Men Square, located in the heart of the capital, and the Imperial Pa ace (Forbidden City) - one of the greatest feats of ancient Chinese architecture. After lunch proceed to the Temple of Heaven where the Ming and Qing emperors prayed for good harvests. This is the largest temple complex remaining in China today. Cultural or acrobatic performance (if available) will be attended in the evening.
  • Day 12
    A full day excursion to the Great Wall - the landmark of China. It is one of the most amazing feats of human labor - the only man-made construction on earth visible from outer space. After lunch, a drive to the Ming Tombs along the Sacred Way with giant marble figures and animals guarding the tomb area for deceased emperors of the Ming dynasty. Dinner is the famous Beijing roasted duck at a local restaurant.
  • Day 13
    Your journey draws to a close with fond memories of an exceptional China experience.
