    Day 1 San Francisco or Los Angeles / Beijing

    Fly a trans-Pacific flight from San Francisco or Los Angeles to Beijing.

    Day 2 Arrive Beijing (D)

    Cross the International Date Line and enter the orient. Arrive Beijing, China¡¯s capital. Upon arrival, you will be met and escorted to your 4 star deluxe hotel ?Xinqiao Hotel.

    Day 3 Beijing (B, L, D)

    Guided tour to the Tiananmen Square, the largest in the world, the royal court Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven where the emperors pray for harvest. An authentic Peking Duck dinner party is served after the tour.

    Day 4 Beijing (B, L, D)

    Excursion to the Badaling Great Wall, one of the world wonders, and climbing on the Great Wall is supposed to be remembered for ever. Visit to the Ming Tombs will be included en route.

    Day 5 Beijing / Urumqi (B, L, D)

    Fly to Urumqi, capital of Xinjiang Autonomous Region and transfer to 5 star Holiday Inn Crown Plaza. City tour to the provincial museum, the Moslem mosque, and Red Mountain Park.

    Day 6 Urumqi (B, L, D)

    Excursion to the Heavenly Lake, and visit the Ulghur Community and enjoy their welcome performance, BBQ lunch en route.

    Day 7 Urumqi / Turpan (B, L, D)

    Drive to Turpan by bus via the Flaming Mountain for visit, check in Oasis Green Hotel (3 star, the best available). Visit the Gaochang Ghost City and the ancient well irrigation system.

    Day 8 Turpan / Liuyuan (B, L, D)

    Visit Prince Su Pagoda and Pachikli Grottos, the Grape Valley and the local community and the museum. Then take an overnight soft-sleeper train from Turpan to Liuyuan in the later afternoon.

    Day 9 Liuyuan (B, L, D)

    Arrival in Liuyuan in the morning and drive 2 hours via the desert to Dunhuang. Check into Dunhuang Hotel VIP Building (4 star) and then drive 18 km for a visit of Mugao Grottos in the whole afternoon.

    Day 10 Dunhuang (B, L, D)

    Visit Dunhuang Mugao Museum which is newly built for better display and reservation of Mugao Grottos and Paintings. Then ride camel to the desert for a visit to the Sound Sand and Moon Lake.

    Day 11 Dunhuang / Lanzhou (B, L, D)

    Fly to Lanzhou and transfer to Feitian Regency Hotel (4-5 star, the best in Lanzhou). City tour to visit the Yellow River in the upper reaches, the White Pagoda and the provincial museum.

    Day 12 Lanzhou (B, L, D)

    A full day excursion to Liujia Gorge: visit the reservoir and power plant (which is the biggest dam on the 2nd longest river in China), then continue to Binling Temple (the most famous grottos on the island in the middle of the reservoir, which gives higher value historical relics on the silk road to visitors). The survivals are 183 grottos nice displaying 694 stone and 82 clay figures, and more than 900 sq. meters of Murals. The tour offers a delight experience of Chinese culture.

    Day 13 Lanzhou / Xian (B, L, D)

    Drive back to Lanzhou. Fly to Xian and check into the 5 star Golden Flower Shangri-La Hotel.

    Day 14 Xian (B, L, D)

    Sightseeing in Xian: view the first emperor¡¯s 6,000 life size terra-cotta soldiers and their horses, chariots, and weapons, the legendary Wild Goose Pagoda and Huaqing Hot Spring. Enjoy a marvelous dumpling dinner show tonight.

    Day 15 Xian / Guangzhou / Hong Kong (B, L, D)

    Fly to Guangzhou for a colorful din sum luncheon. After a brief city tour to the Chen Family Temple, Dr. Sun Yat-sen¡¯s Memorial Hall, take a catamaran to Hong Kong and check into Park Hotel or New World Kowloon Hotel.

    Day 16 Hong Kong (B)

    A half day Hong Kong island tour includes a ride to the Victoria Peak overlooking the Hong Kong harbor; Repulse Bay, Hong Kong¡¯s most popular beach; a former pirate town Aberdeen and Stanley Market.

    Day 17 Hong Kong / US (B)

    Our group tour concludes today. You Day extend your stay in Hong Kong or fly home bound with the others, who will arrive the US the same day.
