A study predicts that the world tourism industry is set to record the sharpest expansion in its history between 2010 and 2020.
A study predicts that the world tourism industry is set to record the sharpest expansion in its history between 2010 and 2020, notably with the emergence of China and India as active players. The Professional Association of Tourism Support study shows "emerging markets and the development of short-term visits" are the two most important factors in the expected growth. The study was prepared ahead of the world tourism exposition scheduled to take place in Paris from March 11th to 14th. The report also predicted that seniors are becoming influential figures in the global tourism market. |
