Climate

The climate in the region is of the continental type of temperate zone with distinct difference between the four seasons. In summer, it is not so hot, and in winter, there is no severe cold with a mean annual temperature of 9 degrees Celsius. January is the coldest month with a mean temperature of 10 degrees below zero Celsius. July is the hottest month with a mean temperature of 24 degrees C. The yearly rainfall is about 300 mm. The period from May to October in a year is the best season for touring.
