Corban is also known as "livestock slaughtering festival', taking place 70 days after breaking fast. It falls on the 10th of the month of Dul hajah. It is because the first ten days of the month of Dul hajah every year are scheduled for pilgrimage to Mecca and the 10th of the month is the last day of pilgrimage, on which celebration activities will take Place. Muslims will be full of joy in best dress, and go to mosques to get together. The ritual ceremony is unique. If condition permits, each person will slaughter a sheep, and seven people slaughter jointly a cow or a camel. And then they divide the meat into three parts, one for oneself, one for guests, and the third part for donation or charity. After the ceremony, people begin to visit their relatives and friends.

The Memorial Day for the Saint

On the 12th of the third month calendar, Mohammed, the founder of Mohammedanism, was born. Muslims attach much importance to the birthday for memorizing the saint and praising his virtues and remembering his teachings forever. On this day, they will chant Islamic scripture, praising the saint and giving account of his merits. They will also hold a dinner party, usually known as "a sacred get-together". The legend goes that Mohammed died on the same day, so it is also called "the anniversary of the death of the saint." Tourism Festivals
