Wild Elephant Gully

Situted in Sanchahe, 47 kilometres north of Jinghong, it covers an area
of 369 hectares at an average altitude of 900 metres. Streams and rivers
zigzag across this well-preserved area covered with a lush growth of
rain forest. It is the habitat of wild Asian elephants, buffaloes, peacocks,
rhesus monkeys, etc.
