  • What's On: Enjoying a summer holiday and participating in the rock climbing competition Brief Introduction: At Quanyapenxue in Jiugong Mountain lies a perpendicular rock with an angle of 80 degrees, which consists of large and hard rocks layer upon layer. Hence it is an ideal place for rock climbing.
  • China Heilongjiang Forest Ecotour Festival
  • Time: July 18 to 20
  • Venue: Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province.

  • Organizers: Yichun City People's Government and Yichun Forest Administrative Bureau.
  • What's On: With the "Heilongjiang - the best place for China Forest Ecotour in the 21st century" as the theme, the Forest Ecotour Festival includes the inauguration ceremony, theatrical performances, and forest ecotours, in addition to the exhibitions and sales of wood carvings, tree-root sculptures, traditional paintings on birch bark.

  • Venue: Chen Barag Banner of Hulun Buir League of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
  • Sponsors: Tourism Bureau of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and the Administrative Office of Hulun Buir League.
  • What's On: Offering sacrifices to Aobao (stone or earth laid out as a road marker or boundary sign by Mongolians, formerly also worshipped as habitation of spirits), holding horserace, and wrestling and arrow shooting competitions. As Nadam Fair fully displays traditional folk culture of the Mongolian people, with a strong local and ethnic characteristics, it attracts a large number of people every year. Attending Nadam Fair will help tourists get to know the history, culture, architecture, songs and dances, costume arts and lifestyle of Mongolians and enjoy the beautiful grassland.
  • The Activity of "Songhua Lake in Summer"

  • Time: July to August
  • Venue: Songhua Lake, Jilin City, Jilin Province.
  • What's On: Songhua Lake, which originates from the Tianchi (Heavenly) Lake of the Changbai Mountains, is one of the largest man-made lakes in China. With an area of more than 500 sq km, Songhua Lake is the national key scenic area approved by the State Council and the 4A scenic area designated by the National Tourism Administration. The Activity of "Songhua Lake in Summer" mainly includes a large concert, an international on-water motor race, an international parachute tournament, an on-water duration competition,
