Jogging tour-under the palace

Modern men or women alike yearn for good health and fitness. Jogging in the morning has become favorite pastime. Many international hotels have built paths for guests who are joggers. The Grand Hotel boasts a natural route for jogging enthusiasts who can exercise while enjoying the Chinese culture. The route is: west along the Chang An Avenue to the Tian An Men Square to watch the ceremonial raising of the flag, then north past the Jian An Men, Duan Men and Wu Men of the forbidden City, turning east along the Tong Zi He River to Dong An Men, then returning to the Grand Hotel. Along the way, guests can enjoy the sight of old Beijingers' doing morning exercises, practicing Taiji and entertaining their pet birds.
